Showcasing the essence of Malaysia by a performance during her wedding, this Indian bride has prepared a dance performance that not only stunned her guests, but also the netizens with her inclusivity.
Msian bride prepares special dance performance with her Malay friends
Watching the video for ourselves, Gowsealya was seen leading her bridesmaids into the hall with a simple yet stunning dance. Accompanied by the mesmerizing tunes, the bridesmaids, donning their beautiful pink saree gave a fantastic performance to the crowd earning well rounded cheers and applaud.

Speaking to Wau Post, Gowsealya shared that her wedding was held at the Sri Sithi Vinayagar Petaling Jaya Hall. As an attempt to ensure that her guests would enjoy her wedding, she has decided to prepare a special dance performance with her fellow bridesmaids. And while the dance was indeed mesmirizing, what caught the attention of many was the diversity included in her entourage.
“The girls are actually my colleagues and I’ve known them for 2 to 5 years. When I first approached them and told them about my idea, some of them were shy at first, but it quickly became exciting for them”, said the bride.

The planning begins
As it was their first experience participating in an Indian wedding, Gowsealya revealed that her friends were very excited and eager to learn about their culture.
“It was their first-time wearing saree; they were so excited to purchase and try them out. They even bought same saree and the Indian costume accessories”, she shared.

With the guidance of one of Gowsealya’s friends, the girls were able to find a fitting traditional attire that was coherent to their theme, paying extra attention to the little details like the bangles and hip chain. Revealing their attire to the bride during their final outfit check, Gowsealya expressed how touched and captivating it was to see her friends in their cultural attire.
3..2..1.. showtime!
After securing their outfits, they moved on to the next step which was the preparation for their performance. Taking time out of their lives, Gowselalya mentioned that they’ve practiced the dance together for only 2 days, using only 1 hour each day after working hours
“They were fast learners, and it only took us 2 days to tidy everything up”, she said.
Expressing her gratitude for her friends, Gowsealya mentioned that she’s touched that her friends were willing to put in so much effort into her wedding. And true enough, their commitment and efforts did pay off as the performance was thoroughly enjoyed by those who were present.

Posting it onto her social media, the bride shared that she never expected the video to garner attention from the netizens. Wanting it to serve as a memory for her own recollection, she was fairly surprised to see the amount of encouragement and love received from the public.
