Following the incredible debut of 16-year-old boxer in ONE championship, Muhammad Johan Ghazali Zulfikar (Jojo), managed to make a name for himself in the Muay Thai scene by knocking out his opponent in 16 seconds. As he continues to shine in the boxing ring, Jojo managed to sweep another victory after knocking out a two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, Tai Sor Jor Piek Uthai.

With his excellence skills displayed in the ring, Johan is now the youngest fighter to ever sign a contract with the ONE championship! According to local newspaper Dayak Daily, the 16-year-old boxer was awarded with the contract after claiming another victory with a liver blow to his opponent, Temirlan Bekmurzaev from Russia.
Looking at his achievements since his debut in the ONE championship, this victory is Johan’s fourth consecutive win this year. Upon receiving the contract, Johan was beyond thrilled as his hard work and dedication towards Muay Thai has definitely paid off.
“I received a contract from ONE championship before I could even get a driver’s license”, said the 16-year-old, adding that he is turning 17 next month.
In addition to the six-figure contract (RM 472,300) he secured, Johan was also given a knockout bonus of $350,000 Baht (RM44,500) for his victory. As of now, Jojo remains to be training under his longtime coach, Addy Singpayak at the Rentap Muay Thai Club that’s based in Kuching.
