Following that, CCTV footages revealed that on the day she went missing, she was seen using her phone while waiting at the waiting area. Shortly after, a woman dressed in white came over and she was seen engaging in conversation with her before getting onto her motorcycle.
Just today, local newspaper China Press reported that her mother, Ms. Chu (transliterated) has headed over to Thailand in hopes of locating her daughter. However, in a series of Instagram stories uploaded over 12 hours ago, Angie shared that she is safe and revealed that she had contacted her family members.
Despite her efforts in contacting her family, Ms. Chu insisted that she must see her daughter for herself before concluding that she is truly safe. In the Instagram stories that Angie posted, she revealed that she is offering beauty services and those who are interested can contact her colleague.
While the social media account is confirmed to be Angie’s personal social media account, it’s unsure if she was the one who uploaded it and Thai authorities mentioned that investigations will still continue.
Regardless of if she has gone over willingly, we hope that she’s safe and is able to give her mother a peace of mind.
