Writing an essay could be a tedious task for many students. However, for this 20-year-old student, he decided to take things up a notch, completing an essay underwater!
20yo MARA student sets national record for writing an essay underwater
Just recently, local newspaper Utusan Malaysia reported that Ahmad Fudhail Ahmad Kenedi has made headlines for completing an essay underwater! By using only one hour and 34 minutes, the MARA student was able to complete a 350-word essay at the Kedah Aquatic Centre in Gunung Keriang.
Prior to completing the challenge at the aquatic centre, Ahmad shared that his initial plan was to complete the challenge under the sea. However, due to the unforeseen weather changes and safety issues, he was advised against it.
“I tried doing it in the sea, but after the 30-minute mark, I started feeling cold”, he said.
Other than that, the 20-year-old student also had to take care of the buoyancy in the water. Fortunately, his dedication and perseverance in setting the national record paid off. With the help of his college management, they were able to ensure that his achievement was certified and acknowledged by the Malaysia’s Book of Records (MBOR).
MBOR certified, in talks of a world record soon
In order to achieve this, Ahmad revealed that he had to use a waterproof pen and special book that are often used by divers. However, Ahmad shared that this achievement is just the beginning as him and his team are already in talks of setting a world record, reports NST.
Along with the support of his program director, Mudzir Mohamad and project director cum Office Management Lecturer, Jamilatul Husna Ramli, Ahmad Fudhail’s essay topic, ‘Importance of Personality Development for Graduates’ perfectly aligns with their module and academic mission, making his achievement relevant.
Congratulations Ahmad Fudhail, all the best for your future endeavours.
