First day of school can be daunting as it signifies a new beginning filled with new experiences. Just yesterday, as the children head over to their schools for their first day, a primary school located in Kajang managed captured a heartwarming interaction between 2 students.

According to the post on SJKC Yu Hua, they described that the first day of school is usually an anxious day for both the children and parents. As the parents were crowding the area encouraging their children to step into the school, a young Malay girl has caught the attention of the school.
Donning her uniform with tears filling up her eyes, it was evident that she was overwhelmed. Despite the encouragement from her mother, the girl was still afraid to step into the school compound.

“Out of nowhere, a Chinese girl then came over to her and gently held her hand”, wrote the post.
The little girl appeared timid and shy, but she decided to muster up the courage and stepped into the school compound with the Malay girl. And while they barely had any interaction, that small gesture of holding each other’s hand was enough to keep each other company and a sprinkle of encouragement.
