Observed by Muslims globally, Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, where they fast from dawn to dusk. And while other people are able to break their fast on time, it seems like it’s an entirely different case for our fellow firefighters.
Firefighters seen responding immediately to emergency call when breaking fast
In a recent display of responsibility, a few firefighters were seen rushing to the fire truck, after receiving an emergency alert. Speaking to Wau Post, Amir mentioned that the incident happened at a fire station in Penang. Adding on, he share that they were all breaking fast at the fire station with their families.
“It was an Iftar event where family members are invited to have dinner at the station”, he said.
As they were in the midst of breaking their fast, an emergency had occurred, and multiple firefighters were seen running towards the exit. Not long after, the sirens on the fire truck went off and they were seen leaving the station, attending to the emergency. Sharing the clip on to TikTok Amir couldn’t help but feel proud of how responsible they were.
“I’m happy to share this because I want people to see how dedicated and responsible they are”, he mentioned.
Following his video that went viral online, many netizens have commented and here’s what some of them said:
“Salute. May they always be at ease.”
“This is what front liners do. During emergencies, they’re the ones who look after us, even during the month of Ramadan, they’re still working hard to save lives.”
