“They were inseparable”, M’sian couple who were married for over 80 years passes away on the same day

Marriage is one of life’s most monumental and beautiful chapters, whereby a union of love and loyalty is undertaken between two individuals for life. Just last week, news broke out that an old couple aged 102 and 94 respectively has passed away on the same day.

M’sian married couple aged 102 and 94 passes away on the same day

According to local newspaper Sin Chew Daily, the man who is 102 years old had passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on June 11 at around 6am. Upon learning about his passing, his wife couldn’t help but shed a tear and about 12 hours after his passing, she passed away peacefully.

Prior to his death, his wife was admitted into the hospital as she was feeling unwell. Even though he was unable to get up from bed, he was said to have been looking at his wife before she was sent to the hospital. During his wife’s hospitalisation period, the old man was very worried of his partner’s condition.

The couple who resided in Petaling Jaya during their lifetime has 5 sons and a daughter. Throughout the years, their family has also expanded to the 4th generation where they have over 50 descendants. Family members who spoke to the local press shared that the loving couple were very supportive of each other and would always be by each other’s side through it all.

Following their traditions. the couple’s funeral was held with their descendants wearing red to pay their last respects and bid their farewell to the couple. It was reported that the couple’s remains will be buried in Fugui Villa, Semenyih.
