Over the years, plenty of newlyweds have been coming up with different ideas and gimmicks to ensure that their wedding ceremony is memorable for them and their guests. S’porean couple decides to get married at the HaiDiLao restaurant they frequent!
According to Singapore media 8 World, a couple has decided to hold their wedding ceremony at the HaiDiLao that they frequent when they were dating! Just over the weekend, the couple had decorated the HaiDiLao branch located in Marina Square and decorated the place with balloons and a pink carpet that leads into the restaurant.
The couple also managed to gain permission from the mall to allow them to decorate the entrance with some wedding decorations. Other than that, the restaurant was also decorated according to their theme of the wedding, making it intimate and unique to their own.
According to one of the managers from HaiDiLao, it was said that the couple started out as “hotpot partners” and would always frequent the particular branch before becoming life partners. The ceremony was said to be rather intimate with over 34 occupied tables filled with the pair’s family and friends.
Fortunately, the restaurant itself was equipped with some audio-visual equipment which allowed them to make a short speech before toasting as well as play out their wedding footages. Following their wedding ceremony, plenty of netizens have commented and here’s what some of them said:
