Just over the weekend, Malaysians were shocked with the appalling behaviour of a British band. As the sage unfolds, the band is at risk of being sued and many local vendors were unable to recoup the losses caused by the cancellation of the event. Just recently, a South Korean rapper has shown exceptional hospitality towards his fans, winning hearts of many.
South Korean rapper performing in KL slots in 15-minute break for Muslims to perform Maghrib Prayers
Showcasing amazing hospitality, South Korean rapper, Bang Yong-Guk came over to Malaysia and had a show at the Shantanand Auditorium in Brickfields. According to local newspapers Malay Mail, the rapper’s set was from 7pm to 9pm and halfway through his set, he kindly reminded concertgoers that it’s time for their Maghrib prayers.
Accompanied by a translator, he announced that he will be taking a 15-minute break so that his Muslim concertgoers can head over for their Maghrib prayers and not miss out on the show. Subsequently, the video of him allocating the 15-minute break made its wave on social media, with many Malaysians applauding his hospitality towards Malaysian Muslims.
