It’s important that figure of authorities and adults be good role models to children as they would learn their values from us. Just recently, a policeman has gone viral for giving motivational speeches at a primary school.

According to the videos shared by abang polis also known as Uncle Mil, he is popular for going around schools teaching children on how to live in harmony and respect each other, regardless of one’s race. In one of his videos, he was giving an example to the children sharing that plenty of them would call their friends with mean nicknames.

He told the kids that calling their friends by their race is not right, and they should always try to be respectful towards each other. As he was giving an example, the students seated at the hall roared in laughter and he emphasised that they shouldn’t pick on each other.

He then signaled the kids to put their arms around their friends seated next to them and repeat after him, saying “I love my friend.” Upon looking at his TikTok page, a separate video shows how he was telling the students from another school to not discriminate each other based on their race.

“If you see other races sitting at the canteen eating, don’t discriminate them and sit elsewhere. Just like how I’d watch Indian movies when I eat and sing mandarin songs when I shower”, he said adding that it’s not right to discriminate as we are all humans.

Following his video, plenty of netizens have praised him for his motivational speeches and here’s what some of them said:

“Alhamdulilah and thank you abang polis for giving out good advice to the new generation. THey should continue the country’s legacy that’s filled with different races with harmony.”
