As festive season is around the corner, plenty of people would start getting their cars checked and serviced in order to for them to make sure that the car doesn’t break down when driving back to their hometowns. That being said, car owners would definitely agree that the prices for maintaining cars can get pretty expensive, even for routine servicing.
Perodua and Proton jumps onto the Rahmah initiative to help relief burden of locals
On April 12 (Wednesday), local carmakers Proton and Perodua have announced separately that they will be jumping onto the Rahmah initiative in hopes of helping the locals relieve their financial burden, especially where car ownership is concerned.
According to a press release by Perodua, they plan on doing this by unveiling their latest ‘Auto Rahmah’ package, which features several servicing discounts for owners of both the Perodua Bezza and Axia.
The campaign would run for a month starting from April 12th until May 15th 2023, with terms and conditions applied. Customers would be entailed to a 30% discount on the total invoice for parts and labour costs during their servicing for either car. In order to be entitled to the promotion, one would only have to contact their nearest Perodua center for their appointment.
On the other hand, Proton also joined in on the movement to show their support by offering free 40-point safety check and an affordable service package that is priced at RM150.
The campaign that was launched by the minister of International Trade and Industry, Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz will run from April 13st all the way to May 31th 2023, and it aims to not only ease the financial burden on car owners, but to also promote road safety.
It’s definitely heartwarming to see how local car providers are coming together to lend a helping hand to those who are in need. For more information on the Proton and Perodua Rahmah initiative feel free to visit their website!
