Driving can be a pasttime for some, a hassle for others. Nevertheless, safety should always come first when on the road. One frightening incident might just be the wake up call we need, as one woman relates her traumatic experience.
M’sian woman endures terrifying encounter while driving
In a video posted on her Instagram, Tazliana Musa, 29, shared a recent encounter she had while on the road. The incident was said to have occurred at 6.45pm on the 18th of July, when the driver was headed towards the direction of the Kampung Pandan roundabout.
Speaking to Wau Post, Tazliana said that she was driving when a man threw himself in front of her car. The man refused to get out of her way and kept alleging that she had hit him on purpose.
She attempted to reverse her car but was blocked by another vehicle behind her. That was when the man repeatedly attempted to climb onto the vehicle, leaving Tazliana in utter shock and panic.
To make matters worse, there were many cars passing by, but none had stopped to help. Just when Tazliana was about to break down, a man got off his bicycle and rushed to her aid.
Kind stranger comes to the driver’s aid, she urges anyone who knows him to come forward
In a heroic act, the man managed to restrain and remove the attacker from Tazliana’s car. However, she had no opportunity to thank the man as she drove off in a hurry. She urged anyone who knew the man from the video to come forward so that she could convey her gratitude to him.
She has since lodged a police report and was informed that the man was in custody. According to the police, the man was found to be mentally unwell. Speaking to Wau Post, she mentioned that the man has been detained and feels much more relieved.
We’re glad to know that everything worked out in the end, and we sure do hope that the kind stranger gets the credit he deserves!
