M’sian student becomes bedridden after a school chair prank, urges netizens to be wary

Pranks are practical jokes or humorous tricks that are intended to amuse, surprise, or sometimes even mildly annoy someone in a light-hearted and playful manner. However, there are some pranks that might concern one’s personal safety and it’s important to always be wary.

Just recently, a distressed mother has shared her sorrows online, after finding out her child has been sent to the hospital. In her TikTok video, the woman revealed that her child has been admitted into the hospital due to a school chair prank by one of her friends. Her daughter, Iqa was seen crying as she was on a hospital bed.

Unfortunately, the prank has left her child bedridden, unable to move from the pain. She then urged for the public to pray for her and her child, asking for strength to overcome this test.

“Despite her being diagnosed with cerebral palsy, I’ve raised her to be independent, just like my other children”, she said.

She expressed her love for her child, vowing to take care of her regardless of her condition.

As her video goes viral online, plenty of netizens have commented on the video and here’s what some of them said:

“There are a lot of similar cases. I think the teachers should always remind their students the dangers of pulling another person’s chair. This happened to my cousin as well and he couldn’t recover.” 

“You should ask the kid’s family to bear all the cost until your child recovers.” 

“If your children doesn’t recover, the kid that pulled your child’s chair should bear all the cost for the rest of your child’s life.”
