Weddings are often a huge milestone, and many would celebrate it by hiring photographers to capture the moment. Just yesterday, a Penang-based photographer shared a heartwarming encounter at a kopitiam when shooting for a lovely couple!
M’sian photographer spots uncle & aunties chatting at kopitiam
Speaking to Wau Post, Momment Picture shared that they’ve travelled all the way to Kedah to help the lovely couple shoot their pre-wedding photos. Explaining that they’ve taken a different approach, Haziq and the team revealed that after discussion with the couple, their photoshoot concept would be lifestyle focused. And the reason for it is because they wanted the moments shared to be as candid as possible.

“It’s definitely more fun to do lifestyle concept shoots, it helps us and the couple to get into the mood. As a result, the pictures would look much more natural”, said Haziq.
Halfway through the shoot, they stumbled upon a kopitiam and found the uncle and aunties sitting around, catching up on life.
Asks them to join in couple’s wedding shoot
“The uncle and aunties were sitting there and chit chatting, that’s when an idea came into mind”, said the photographer.
Seeing that they were friendly and very approachable, the photographer headed over and asked if they were comfortable being in a shot with the lovely couple. To no surprise, the group of elderlies were more than happy to be a part of the couple’s shoot, following precisely what they were told to do.

Posting this adorable moment onto their TikTok, netizens were quick to ask for the results and true enough, the photos did not disappoint! The lovely couple donning their wedding outfit stood in the middle of the kopitiam, with the uncle and aunties seated all around them.
This heartwarming encounter truly highlighted the harmony and friendliness amongst the community and we’re so happy to see that the pictures came out great!
