Kechara Soup Kitchen is a reputable non-profit organisation that aims to help those who are vulnerable and in need. With that said, the organisation has successfully helped many individuals get their life back on track and just recently, they’ve taken their gratitude and joy onto the socials about a man that they’ve helped previously.
M’sian man who was homeless approached NGO for help, gives back by signing up as volunteer
Just last week, the non-profit organisation shared that a man named Mr. S had approached them asking for help. After being in separation with his family, Mr. S was left homeless and jobless and desperately needed help to get back on track. Without delaying, the team then set out to help out Mr. S.
They then helped him secure a place at Pusat Transit Gelandangan (PTG) Kuala Lumpur. With their assistance, they were able to get him a part-time job that was easy for him to commute around as well. With his life back on track, Mr. S was able to stand up on his two feet again and decided to give back to the organisation that helped him during his rough times.
“Mr. S came back last Saturday and decided to help with street distribution for the time ever!”, they exclaimed.
They mentioned that Mr. S was very appreciative of the assistance he received and wanted to give back to the community that once helped him, therefore returning to the center to help out as a volunteer. Before ending their post, the team expressed how happy they felt seeing people like Mr. S turn their lives around with their assistance.
With the help of the public’s donations and contributions, it has allowed them to continue serving those who are in need, ensuring that they too, receive the opportunities they deserve!
We’re so happy to see Mr. S turn his life around, being able to stand on his two feet again.
