Participating in a marathon requires ample training and this could be a bucket list for many people. Just recently, a video has made waves on social media, as a pygmy goat was spotted running in the marathon along with its owner!

According to a video on TikTok, Izzatie shared that she had participated in a marathon “Larian Perpaduan Selangor” back in late 2023. As Izzati was running, she was surprised to see a little animal running along with them. Speaking to Wau post, she mentioned that she thought the animal was a little donkey or a dog.
“I got closer to it and found out that it was a Pygmy goat!”, exclaimed Izzati.

Excited to see a goat, she quickly found out that the cute animal participated in the marathon with its owner Firdauz. Explaining further about her encounter with a goat, Izzati shared that people who participated in the marathon were thrilled to see Nami the goat, emphasising that the goat instantly became a motivation for everyone.
“Many people wanted to catch a glimpse of Nami, so they started running quicker so they could catch up”, said Izzati.
Elaborating further on her encounter, Izzati mentioned that Nami the goat is actually only 5 months old. The size of the goat is relatively small as compared to other goats in Malaysia, due to its breed. Prior to this run, it was also said that Nami had participated in another marathon called “Unicorn Run”.
