As we celebrate the 67th Independence anniversary of Malaysia, many Malaysians have attended the full-dress rehearsals for the National Day Parade! On top of the normal parade, in conjunction with the Johor Sultan’s first year as King, 3 performance segments have been prepared and are expected to be the highlight of this year’s parade.
K9 doggos suit up with their handlers for the parade!
According to a video on TikTok by FD, one of the most anticipated sections would definitely be the K9 doggos. Donned in their working vests, along with tiny boots to shield their legs, the fur kids were seen being led into the march with their handlers!

Sticking their tongues out, these adorable dogs definitely earned the attention and respect of many people who attended the full-dress rehearsals. K9 units are truly one of the most important aspects as they’ve helped along with so many cases, especially when there are disasters like earthquakes and collapses.
Other than the k9 units marching in with their handlers, attendees can also expect other performances like a formation band performance involving 300 participants from uniformed marching bands and 2,000 ‘human graphic’ student participants.

Malaysians can also expect other performances like unarmed combat performance featuring 250 personnel from the Malaysian Armed Forces and the stompers performance with a show themed ‘Clean Up Corruption’ within the Malaysia Madani Medley.
