While many Malaysians are kind and would always look out for each other, it’s inevitable that there would be people who would take advantage of one’s kindness. However, for this family of four, it seems like greed is not in their bones!
Kind family of 4 insist on only buying clothes despite choice given to purchase electrical items
Just recently, Foodie CEO Pinn Yang has shared a video on to his TikTok page. In his video he approached a few shoppers in the mall located in Penang and asked if they could lend him RM0.05. After a few attempts, he finally met a couple with two kids who were willing to help him out. The man then took a bag out and gave Pinn Yang RM0.05, just like what he requested.

He then revealed his intentions to the family saying that he wants to do something nice for them as they were the first to help him out. He then took a credit card out and told the family of four that they could buy anything they want from the mall and after hesitating for a while, the man’s wife said that she would like to buy some clothes.
“Do you want to consider buying other things like electrical items?”, asked Pinn Yang.

Upon hearing his suggestions, the couple politely declined saying that clothes are enough for them. As they were walking to an apparel store, the man who works as a courier told Pinn Yang that they actually came back from a hospital checkup as one of their children requires a colostomy bag.
“I took leave today to send my child for a medical follow up”, he said.

As they entered the store, the family of four started browsing through clothes and only chose four items, one for each of them. Pinn Yang urged for them to pick more to which the man’s wife replied happily saying “one is enough”. The total bill then came up to RM227 and the family left with a bag of clothes that they asked for.
