It needs no reminding that there is a time and place for everything. And this is especially true of intimacy between lovers, which is always best kept behind the privacy of closed doors for decency’s sake. More so given the fact that one could be detained for committing acts of indecent exposure.
Only, that rhetoric appears to have eluded one couple, who quickly become the talk of the town after being caught quite literally with their pants down.
M’sian couple allegedly performing indecent acts in a car detained by PDRM
Just yesterday, Malaysians were stupefied when a short 22-second video went viral online, showing how a young pair of lovers appeared to be embroiled in a dalliance in a red Perodua Axia.
At the time, they were confronted by two men who came up to the driver’s side window of the car after it was left parked in an empty parking lot near the Seri Alam area in Johor, reports local newspaper Sin Chew Daily.
Filming the entire encounter in a 22-second clip, one of the men proceeded to take a peek in the car to find what appears to be a young woman straddling the lap of a young man on the passenger side seat, with both their pants visibly drawn down. Despite the obviously compromising position they were both caught in, the young man attempted to lie by claiming that the young woman was ‘sick’ before asking for the video to be deleted.
Following that, the video was uploaded online and garnered plenty of traction. Not too long after on April 6th, the Seri Alam police took to investigating the matter and have since identified the young couple as a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old student.
Both the suspects have been detained and the authorities have confiscated the red and white shirt the 17-year-old girl was wearing along with the car that they were in. The case will now be investigated under Section 377D of the Penal Code for outrage of decency.
“If the suspects are found guilty, the punishment would include a jail term of not more than 2 years”, said Seri Alam police chief, Mohd Sohaimi Bin Ishak.
Local authorities have also urged the public to not break the rules or perform any indecent acts when in public as there could be serious consequences to bear.
