Malaysians are known to be kind and considerate towards everyone. Just recently, a YouTuber named Max Chernov interviewed a woman hailing from Poland named Agata Bas. According to the video, Agata shared that she has been living in Malaysia for over 7 years and praised Malaysian for their hospitality and plethora of food.
Woman from Poland praises M’sian for their kindness
Sharing her experiences to Max in the YouTube video, Agata revealed that when she first came to Malaysia, she was unfamiliar with her surroundings but quickly warmed up to the city as she met plenty of kind Malaysians. Recalling her experiences living in Malaysia, she said that not long ago, she has decided to take a cab home late at night and accidentally fell asleep during the ride back home.
As she arrived her destination, her cab driver gently woke her up and she got off the car. But as soon as she got off, she realised that she was at the wrong destination and told her cab driver about it. Out of kindness, the cab driver then switched off his meter and began helping her by circling the area, looking for her drop-off destination.
Other than that, Agata shared another encounter she had with a kind Malaysian woman who operates a satay store. Just awhile back, as she was feeling hungry late at night, she then decided to take a 2-minute walk to a satay store nearby to get her supper fix. As she was done with her meal, the satay store operator then asked her to not walk home alone as it’s dangerous.
“She asked me to wait and told her son to fetch me back to my home with his motorbike”, she said.
When asked about her favourite local delicacies, Agata’s favourite is none other than Nasi Lemak, Kolo Mee and banana leaf. She revealed that every time she heads back to Europe, she would pack a bottle of sambal and bring it along with her!
We’re happy to see that Agata is enjoying her stay here in Malaysia!
