Over the years, the cost-of-living has increased significantly, and many have been struggling to put food on the table. Just over two days ago, a Malaysian man has stumbled upon a Malaysian delivery rider and decided to lend a helping hand.
M’sian delivery rider seen only using RM1 to pump petrol
According to a TikTok user, Erry, he saw a delivery rider pushing his motorcycle heading somewhere. Thinking that his motorcycle had broken down, he then got out of his car to check on the rider. Upon asking he found out that he had ran out of petrol, so he had no choice but to slowly make his way to the gas station.
“I gave him some money and decided to follow him over to the gas station”, said Erry.

Following him to the station, they saw the rider pumping gas into his motorcycle, before heading off to a corner, preparing for his journey home. Looking at the gas meter, he realised that the rider only used RM1 to fill up his gas tank. Out of curiosity, he then approached the delivery rider again, and asked if the money he had given was enough.
The rider then quickly clarified that the money he had given him was more than enough to fill up his tank, however, he only needed RM1 to fill up his tank to get home.

“I’m heading home now, I only wanted to fill up enough gas to go back home. The money that you’ve given me, I want to use it for my child’s pampers”, he mentioned.
Understanding that he’s going through some hardships, Erry decided to give him a little extra money to help him tide through. Rejecting his offer, the delivery rider kept telling him that the amount he has given him is enough. Erry then reassured the rider, telling him that he wants to help him.
“Please just use this money to buy food or any necessities for your child”, mentioned Erry.

Touched by Erry’s kind gesture, the rider couldn’t help but tear up. Comforting the rider, Erry encouraged him to stay strong and live life strongly.
