Often times we would hear heartwarming stories about police officers in Malaysia helping people out when they face any problems. In a recent wholesome incident, a delivery rider was seen helping a police officer out, after he found out that his tyre was punctured.
M’sian delivery rider lends a helping hand by fixing Abang Polis’ motorcycle tyre
According to a TikTok video posted by @minyakhitamjalanan_, he shared that he was on his way back home from work. Stumbling upon two police officers, he decided to make a quick stop at a nearby ATM. Realising that the police officers were tailing him, he thought the police officers were going to stop him for speeding.
However, as the police officer approached him, he was fairly surprised. The two police officers then revealed that one of their motorcycles have been punctured by a nail, and was hoping that he could provide them with some assistance.
“I thought I was going to get a summon but turns out they just needed help”, he said.
Pulling out his tools, the entire process took him no more than 20 minutes and when he was done, the police officer offered him some money, to which he politely declined.
“I didn’t want to take the cash, but he insisted”, said the delivery rider.
Not wanting to go back and forth any further, the man then accepted the money from the officers. Reflecting on the experience, the man expressed that he was happy to be able to help the police officer. While he had no intention on receiving anything he return, he was grateful that he was able to receive the blessing from the officer.
