Waiters essentially play a vital role in the food and beverage industry as they help ensure that the operations run smoothly. Just recently, a young server has gone viral, receiving plenty of encouragement online to not be conscious of his appearance.
Young waiter afraid to serve coffee due to his appearance
According to a post by Hospitality Problems and Tracy Truong, a young server was seen working at a cafe. Upon understanding, it was said that the young man was trying to raise money for his mother’s medical fees. However, as he was self-conscious of his appearance, he became timid and was afraid to serve customers their orders.

“I knew he was afraid, and I wanted him to know that I wasn’t bothered by his appearance, so I told him to just serve my order”, said Tracy.
Commending the young waiter for his effort, Tracy shared a short post about her encounter, expressing how happy she was to see the hard-working young man being willing to step out of his comfort zone.
