Angpao, also known as red packets, are little red envelopes that people use as monetary gift for joyous occasions such as weddings, birthdays and Chinese New Year. Just recently, a man from Hong Kong shared his joy after his mother returned him all the angpao he received over 20 years ago!
Hong Kong mother returns all the angpao she collected for his son after 2 decades
According to local newspaper China Press, a man from Hong Kong was delighted to find out that his mother has helped him save up all the angpao he has received for the past 20 years.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw the angpaos, I never thought such mom would exist”, he said.
Following that, the man then shared a couple of pictures of the angpao his mother returned him. Looking at the pictures, all the angpao seemed to have not been touched or opened. The red packets were stacked up against each other with rubber bands and upon receiving it from his mother, the man was ecstatic!

“Looks like it’s a sleepless night for me”, he said signifying that he will be up all night opening up the red packets.
