After completing their tertiary education, it’s normal for fresh graduates to aim higher and try to secure a job in the corporate world. And this is all in hopes for a better future. Unfortunately for this graduate, it seems like reality has struck a little too hard on him as he was unable to secure a job in the corporate world.

Graduating during the pandemic years, Danial explained that many companies weren’t actively hiring. Fast forward 3 years later, while the pandemic restrictions have lifted, it’s unfortunate that the struggles for him are still present as he has yet to be able to secure a job due to the lack of experience in his desired field.

“I attended plenty of interviews, but the results are always the same”, he said.

Speaking to Wau post, he shared that most of the jobs he interviewed for are only offering a salary of RM1,600 monthly. While it may not be his ideal salary, Danial was willing to work his way up, but unfortunately, he would get rejected due to his lack of experience.

Seeing that he has little to no options left, Danial then decided to work as a delivery rider earning a mere RM6 per order. While it is not the dream job he desired, he remains grateful that he is able to get a job. He then urged the public to not give up regardless of how hard things get.

“There will be better days ahead”, he mentioned.

Good luck on your job hunt Danial, all the best for your future endeavours.
