So imagine a big movie star coming to dine at your restaurant, and leaving without an autograph? In a recent post, the owner of a local hotpot restaurant expressed her frustration over her lost opportunity.
“The kids did not recognize him at all. Is this what we call today’s generational gap?”, she wrote. The owner had found out that one of her VIP room patrons had spent RM2000 on their meal. As she went through the CCTV footage, she discovered that the mystery guest was actually Louis Koo!

As for the other guests at the restaurant, they remained oblivious to the celebrity in their midst. Louis Koo and his friends had been seated in a VIP room, which likely contributed to their low profile. The actor is currently in Malaysia to film his upcoming blockbuster movie ‘Tailed’.
The owner went on to say how she regretted missing her chance to meet the star. She also admitted that she would not have recognized today’s trending idols. And, fellow netizens agreed with her on this, leaving a flurry of comments.
Well, hopefully the owner’s luck will one day strike again!
