For years, Malaysians have been purchasing Apple products from authorised retailers. Celebrating the start of a new era, Apple has confirmed that the first ever Apple store in Malaysia is set to open its doors on June 22, at the TRX Exchange mall.

Prior to this, news of an official Apple store opening in Malaysia has been floating around due to the building with the tudung saji-like roof at the TRX City Park. On top of that, back in December 2022, the Cupertino-based computer giant has been listing vacancies, actively recruiting retail staffs.
Following its confirmation on their website, users who step into an Apple store can expect a seamless digital experience, with their needs prioritized. If you’re wondering if there’s a price difference between the resellers and the Apple store itself, rest assured that the prices of the products will remain the same.
However, one significant difference that sets the Apple store apart is the fact that it doesn’t adopt the traditional retail store concept, but rather, a town hall concept. Wanting to serve as a space to educate and engage with their customers, the town hall concept allows for the giant tech company to organize workshops and classes.
Led by authorized Apple experts, known as Creatives, the workshop topics would include, photography, art and design, along with coding, music and video editing, and even business skills. Other than that, users can also expect excellent after care service from the well-trained staff, ranging anywhere from iPhone battery replacements to menial troubles like installing a new software.
As of now, the interior of the store has yet to be revealed, but it is rumoured that it will be sensational. Stay tuned for more updates or check out Apple’s website here.
