Abang polis helps pregnant woman navigate road jam
According to a post on Facebook by Polis Diraja Malaysia, a pregnant woman was stuck in a jam with her husband while on the way to the hospital. Seeing that his wife was going through contractions, the husband decided to seek for help, hoping to gain some assistance from the police.
Following his plea, three police officers were dispatched to the New Klang Valley Expressway to help the couple navigate through the jam. It was reported that the incident happened on December 9 during noon where the couple was heading towards the hospital in Sungai Buloh.
Thankfully, with the help of the officers, they were able to escort the couple to the hospital, just in time for the woman to receive necessary treatment, delivering her baby safely. Upon arriving the hospital, two of the police officers got down from their cars and checked on the couple briefly, before heading into the building to get medical officers.
“A massive congratulations to sergeant Daud Zainal, corporal Amri Alias and lance corporal Yazid Abd Aziz who showcased their ability to be observant and caring towards the society”, said the post.
Ending the post, it urged for other police officers to also act out of compassion towards the society, in hopes of creating a tight knitted community.
As the post goes viral, plenty of netizens have commented on the post and here’s what some of them said:
