A generous boss is definitely hard to find but this Malaysian has shown us that regardless of the circumstances, it is always possible to extend gratitude and encouragement towards employee.
M’sian boss rewards long serving employee with 2-month Raya bonus!
Not too long ago, Sunny Seow, better known as Sunny Coco has made headlines for helping a makcik with her rent, so she didn’t have to be evicted from her stall. Making it a point to help out as much as he can, this time round, he has extended his generosity towards his long serving employee.
Recalling the days with his employee, Sunny shared that the pair of siblings have been working for him since he started his business. Revealing that they were only earning a mere RM900 over 12 years ago, their salary has now increased to RM5,000 a month!
“They devoted their time to me and in return, I offered them a new car and a house”, he said.
Sharing that one of the brothers are now married, Sunny said that he was there to witness the growth of these two young men. Wanting to reward them for their loyalty and hard work, he decided to offer them a 2-month Raya bonus, along with a well-deserved 1-week break.
“I’ve seen them grown from when they’re 16 and I’m happy that I was there to help them get out of poverty”, he mentioned.
Further proving the trust he has for the two brothers, he mentioned that the sibling duo have been helping him manage his business since 2017.
“We’re not earning a lot, but it’s more than enough to make ends meet. For that I’m grateful for them”, he said.
As his generosity makes headlines, plenty of netizens have commented and here’s what some of them said:
“Employee’s blessing. May you always be safe.”
“People who practice gratitude wouldn’t have bad luck. Both the boss and his employees are blessed.”
“Good employees, good boss.”
Truly an incredibly generous act! We’re so happy that the siblings are well taken care of!
