For those who are unfamiliar, Roti Canai is a flatbread known for its flaky, crispy, and layered texture! Just recently, a mamak stall has gone viral for this rhythmic Roti Canai making method!
Rhythmic Roti Canai making? This mamak serves roti canai with a creative twist!
Located at Sarawak, this mamak stall named Yusuf Islamic Cafe has gone viral as they were making Roti Canai with a creative twist. In the video posted on TikTok, a man was seen preparing to give an outstanding performance to the customers in the eatery. After the flatbread was cooked, the man stacked a few of it together.
He then started his performance by hitting the bread, followed by some clapping. Speaking to Wau Post, the man shared that he has been making Roti Canai for over 30 years. Given that his job is to make Roti Canai daily, it’s great to see that he is coming up with different ways to make his job fun and entertain the guests.
Upon creating this 30 second performance, the eatery has been filled with smiles and cheers every time he performs. Following his video, plenty of netizens have commented on the video and here’s what some of them said:
