Getting into a prestigious institution to further their studies could be every student’s dream. In order to achieve that, one doesn’t only need to be hardworking, but also possess certain qualities that makes them stand out from the rest. Just recently, the Ministry of Education has taken this good news to their socials, sharing the incredibly achievement of a fellow student.
M’sian secures spot in Imperial College London after obtaining perfect score for her IB Diploma
Completing her diploma programme in International Baccalaureate (IB) at Kolej Tunku Kurshiah, Raz Irina Mohd Razlan has successfully completed her studies, obtaining the maximum grade 7 in all six subject groups! Other than that, according to the post, she also managed to score full marks for three of her core subjects which includes the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge (TOK).

Following her extraordinary achievement, this has allowed her to be categorised as part of the 1% of candidates worldwide, who have achieved a perfect score. And this goes without saying that her achievements were noticed and she managed to secure an offer from Imperial College London!
Raz has since accepted the offer and will be commencing her studies in Chemical Engineering (MEng) soon. Her achievements and acceptance into a prestigious college is truly a recognition that her resilient, hardworking, self-reliant attitude and commitment has paid off.

In their post, the ministry of education revealed that Raz has always been a dedicated, committed and independent who is capable of being mature. Evidently, this has reflected well in her studies, resulting into her being a consistent achiever!
