M’sian family in America offers help to Americans who were unsure of what to get at M’sian eatery

One of the best qualities that Malaysians possess would be how nice and hospitable we are towards everyone. With that said, the spirit of a Malaysian should continue to live on regardless of where you are at, showcasing true grace. Just recently, a Malaysian-American family based in America has shared a wholesome video onto their TikTok.

M’sian family offers help after seeing Americans struggling to order at M’sian eatery

The Kumaar family, who are famous for their vlogs and adventures as an interracial couple has uploaded a video where they helped out a few Americans who stumbled into a Malaysian eatery in the US. In their video, it could be seen that Rachel, the wife of Logesh has approached the Americans that were looking at the menu boards in the eatery.

Drawing from her own experience, Rachel expressed that she has gone through a similar experience where she felt helpless, not knowing what to order in a foreign restaurant. Not wanting others to feel the same, she then decided to approach the group of people, offering her help.

Throughout the video, Rachel was seen explaining the dishes available to the group who came in, helping them understand better on what to order. And from the look of the group, it was apparent that they appreciated the help that Rachel was offering to them. Subsequently, the family shared that the group of people had decided to go with one of Malaysia’s staples must haves, Nasi Lemak with rendang chicken!

The heartwarming video has since garnered over 624k views on TikTok, with plenty of netizens leaving their comments, and here’s what some of them said:

“Occasionally I’d see tourists that need help with ordering food but they don’t know how, but I have broken English!” 

It’s truly joyous and heartwarming to see that the spirit of Malaysians is embodied so well in a family, despite them being far away from Malaysia. Keep up the good work and continue spreading positivity, Logesh and Rachel!
