One thing’s for sure is that in life, we’ll never stop learning. Just recently, 99 Speedmart owner, Lee Thiam Wah has taken the spotlight where he successfully completed his MBA program. Alongside his wife and his manage ment team, they’ve decided to improve themselves by taking up MBA.

According to local newspaper Sin Chew Daily, Lee and his wife had decided to take up the MBA course during th epandemic. Speaking to the local press, Lee revealed that when the pandemic hit, everyone was stuck at home with limited activities to do. That’s when he decided to encourage his wife and his management team to take up the course to fill up time.

“This program can help us gain more knowledge in the corporate world”, he said.
Following that, Lee shared that the course they took was an online course offered by the Southern University of College. As it was during the Covid-19 pandemic, all of their classes were held online. as the pandemic restriction eased, him and his team continued attending classes remotely on Saturdays.
When asked about his motto in life, Lee revealed that he had always believed in lifelong learning. He is a firm believer that one should always learn or there will be no progress. Other than that, the rapid development of technology has also piqued his interest in learning, making it easier to pick up on things.

Lee also highlighted that after signing up for the course, the relationship between him and his team have further improved. Following their graduation ceremony held last Saturday, Lee along with his wife Ng Lee Teing and his top management were seen graduating together.
Congratulations for completing the course, it’s definitely not easy as it takes a lot of perseverance.
