As we all can probably agree, the world around us can sometimes feel pretty overbearing in its chaos, where things never seem to fall into place exactly as they should. But then there are rare instances when things are timed just right in a way for them to line-up and synchronise perfectly, which can provide viewers with a deep sense of relaxation that almost feels cathartic.
In fact, video clips of such cases of synchronicity have become so popular over social media, they even have a genre of their own online with compilations such as these.
8 cars perform sychronised illegal U-turn along KL street
But what happens when a group of drivers decide to make an unintentionally synchronised illegal U-turn together? Well, that is exactly what had happened recently along Jalan Segambut in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (5th July 2022). In a TikTok video that was recently uploaded by user mentarisenj4, we can see the driver of a vehicle making his way down the street before inadvertently chancing upon a Toyota MPV making the illegal maneuver near a traffic intersection.
And while that in itself probably doesn’t raise too many eyebrows, what happened immediately afterwards certainly did. The subsequent eight cars that were lined up behind the Toyota MPV proceeded to perform the exact same illegal U-turn at the same time in a single, well-timed and highly precise synchronised maneuver.
Netizens both shocked and impressed
As one can expect, the short clip has since spread like wildfire across local social media platforms, with many Malaysians left shocked and in-awe of the entire spectacle.
“Okay, looks like everyone showed up for rehearsal.”
“I want to hate this but this is pretty smart.”
“I want to get angry but I can’t because I’m just really impressed.”
“4 came for rehearsal, but the last 4 only just started to learn the steps.”
While this may sure look cool, we have to stress that such maneuvers are pretty dangerous and you should never perform them if you can avoid to!
