Over 9 years ago, Malaysian Airlines Flight (MH370) that was carrying 239 passengers and crew had mysteriously disappeared. As the news broke out, the whole world had their eyes on Malaysia, watching how we would navigate the situation. And after all these years, many Malaysians are still saddened by the news.

In a recent TikTok video posted by @comedycellarusa, they featured a Singapore based comedian named Jocelyn Chia. In the 1 minute and 29 second video, she started her video by briefly explaining how Singapore was kicked out of Malaysia, resulting into their former prime minister crying on television saying that they couldn’t survive without Malaysia.

“40 years later we became a first world country and Malaysia what are you guys now? Still a developing country”, she mocked.

After throwing a few vulgarities around and depicting the feud Singapore and Malaysia had as a “breakup revenge”, she then touched the issue regarding MH370, asking the audience if the plane (MH370) was funny.

“What? Malaysian Airlines going missing not funny? huh?”, she ridiculed adding on saying that “some jokes don’t land”.

Following her joke, an alleged Malaysian in the audience then said that he would be leaving a bad review on Yelp to which she replied saying that it’s okay as Malaysia has got no internet.

As the video went viral on TikTok, plenty of netizens have left their comments on the page and here’s what some of them said:

“Sarcastic, bad joke, lousy cheapskate comedian, but there’s some truth behind her words, their country is the size of an egg but they’re still more powerful than us.”
