But you’ll be surprised to see how some truly insignificant gestures committed out of sincere goodwill can truly have a lasting impact on another person’s life. This is especially true in the case of one local security guard who has since touched the hearts of netizens after a video of him had gone viral across local social media.
Security guard at Penang hospital gently feeds elderly auntie
As shared by local community social media page Penang Kini’s TikTok account, a 13-second video shows how a security guard who goes by the name of Mr Sri Subra, was seen gently feeding an elderly auntie facing mobility difficulties a meal at the Penang General Hospital.
It is unclear if the woman, who was seen seated in a wheelchair, had arrived at the hospital on her own unaided. But according to the description that accompanied the clip, she was unattended on her own until the security guard came along.
“A security guard with a truly noble heart. He was feeding an elderly woman who was not accompanied by anybody. The security guard, who is named Sri Subra and works in GH Penang, is truly the best.” the caption read.
Netizens have been moved by the touching scene
Understandably, the unreserved compassion shown by the guard towards the senior citizen has since garnered him heaping praise from the online community, many whom were moved to tears by the scene.
