M’sian man stumbles upon eatery that sells rice with fried chicken for RM5!
Speaking to Wau Post, the man shared that he headed to Perlis with his family for a wedding on the fourth day of Raya. Prior to attending the wedding, he and his family decided to look for a breakfast spot.
“We wanted to look for an aesthetic cafe or an eatery that overlooks paddy fields”, he said.
However, as it was during the Raya weekend, many of the eateries were closed. Despite heading to a few cafes and restaurants, all of them were closed. Feeling hungry, they then decided to just stop by at Medan Selera Sena to see what they can find. To their surprise, they stumbled upon a vendor who serves generous portions of food.
Looking at the picture, the 3 plates of rice came with fried chicken as well as fried fish. And the best part about it, is that the price for the 3 plates of generous portion is only RM15.
“We were definitely surprised to find out that the food was only RM15, given that the portion was huge”, he said.
To no surprise, the price of the food has grabbed the attention of many netizens and here’s what some of them said:
“If this was in KL, Selangor, Johor, Putrajaya or Cyberjaya it would’ve costed over RM10!”
“If this is in Klang Valley, such a big piece of chicken would cost RM15.”
“Wow, that’s cheap!”
