M’sian makcik helps keep baby in train cool by fanning him with a small pillow, warms netizens’ hearts

Malaysia is a country that’s filled with kind people, and this is apparent as we’ve seen many people going out of their way to help those who are struggling. Just recently, an incident on a train has touched many netizens’ heart as an aunty was seen fanning a distressed baby due to the hot weather.

Speaking to Wau Post, Bryan shared that he was on a train from Bukit Mertajam to Padang Rengas. He shared that he was actually rushing to find the right platform to board the train. He then approached the makcik and asked where his platform was, and it so happened that the makcik and her husband is heading over to the same platform.

After boarding the train together, Bryan shared that the couple were very friendly and engaged in light banter with people around them. Initially, Bryan revealed that he didn’t engage much in conversation with the uncle as his mind was all over the place.

“The uncle could tell that I wasn’t in the mood to speak, but would occasionally check up on me regardless”, he said.

Sitting across Bryan was a mother with a baby and to no surprise, the couple spoke to the mother, and they began chatting for a bit. However, the baby that the mother was holding started crying, feeling distressed over the sweltering conditions on the train. Despite the mother and makcik’s best effort to comfort the baby, the baby was still crying.

Seeing the baby in distress, the makcik then took the small pillow and started fanning the infant. Feeling touched by the scene, Bryan decided to quickly record the heartwarming moment. As his video went viral on TikTok, the makcik that he filmed eventually saw the video, subsequently messaging him to thank him for sharing it.

Following the video, plenty of netizens have commented on the video and here’s what some of them said:
