Just recently, Malaysian content creators, Pauline and Henry have made waves online with the one-of-a-kind gender reveal party!
M’sian content creators celebrates gender reveal party at mamak restaurant
According to a video posted by Pauline Tan, she shared in her video saying that she has gotten the gender result of her baby in an envelope. Wanting to have a mini gender reveal celebration with her family, she decided to pass the results to her mother, making her in charge of the reveal to the waiters.

Prior to arriving at the mamak restaurant, Pauline revealed that the idea of having a gender reveal party at a mamak restaurant was actually her husband’s idea.
“I asked her (Pauline) if she would want to do it at a mamak restaurant, and we would use Roti Tissue instead of balloons”, said her husband.

As they arrived at the restaurant, Pauline’s mother then passed two packets of natural dye to one of the employees, letting them dye the Roti Tissue to pink and blue. Before revealing the gender of the baby, the couple then took the time to ask their family members to guess the gender of the baby.
When the waiter approaches them with the Roti Tissue, they were all thrilled to see the Roti Tissue dyed in pink, signifying that they’re having a baby girl! After indulging in their meal, Pauline’s husband revealed the amount they’ve spent and to their surprise, their entire celebration only costed RM48!
