BREAKING: Good Vibes festival has been cancelled

Just over 30 minutes ago, the management of Good Vibes festival, Future Sound Asia has released a statement notifying event goers that the Good Vibes Festival has been cancelled.

According to a post on their social media, a way of letter dated back on June 27, 2024, has been sent out by the authorities notifying event organisers that large-scale performances involving international artists are not to be held on July 20, 2024, out of respect for the Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty, Sultan Ibrahim, the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.

Following that, the involved organiser has revealed that due to the nature of their festival, involving various artists and multiple touring dates over the course of a few days, the possibility of rescheduling is impossible.

“As a result, Future Sound Asia is announcing the cancellation of the festival, originally scheduled for July 20 and 21, 2024.”, it wrote.

With that said, the organisers have also announced that all tickets purchased for the festival will receive full refunds to the payment method used for their purchase. Prior to this, the Malaysia based concert festival was cancelled due to the remarks made by Matt Healy, a UK singer in a band called ‘The 1975″.

Those who have purchased a ticket are asked to be patient as the organisers issue a refund accordingly.
