Kindness is definitely a quality that everyone should practice, not only to others but to animals as well. In a recent heartwarming display of compassion, a Malay man has been praised for constantly feeding the dogs that wander near his housing area!
52yo Kind Malay man often feeds the stray dogs around his housing area
Speaking to local newspaper Harian Metro, 52-year-old Mohd Ridzal Abdul Latip revealed that he has been feeding the dogs near his housing area for the past year.
“I’m not taking it (strays) as pets, I’m merely feeding them, providing them with basic necessities”, he said.
Recalling his journey feeding the dogs, he mentioned that he first discovered the three puppies when they started visiting his home to play with his pet cats. Sharing that he has over 14 cats, the three puppies would often head over to his place and mingle around. Despite their differences as dogs and cats, Mohd Ridzal said that these adorable animals have never once fought.
“They never gave me or my pets any problems. In fact, they love playing around together and the dogs would never defecate around my house”, said the man.

When asked about what he feeds the dogs, the man said that he would often feed them the head or feet of chickens. He also emphasised that every time he’s required to touch the dogs, he would make sure that he’s wearing gloves. On top of that, while feeding the dogs, he would gently tell them to not make a mess around his house.
“Thankfully, they would listen to me and never make a mess”, he said.
While he understands that there would be a handful of people who disagrees with what he’s doing, Mohd Ridzal doesn’t have the intention to stop as he believes that he is doing something nice for the animals. Ending his interview with Harian Metro he urged for the public to not hurt animals, even if they don’t have a liking for them.
“You can dislike it, just don’t hurt them, especially when they never hurt or put you in any sort of danger”, he mentioned.
