By now, it’s a known fact that Malaysia is home to many mamak restaurants. With that said, one of the most famous hangout spots for friend groups would definitely be mamak restaurants as they provide affordable and delicious meals. Just recently, a Malaysian woman had shared her hilarious encounter at a mamak after ordering Roti Tissue!

Sharing it onto her socials, TikTok user @is.mayaaa_ was hanging out with a group of her friends at a mamak. Not long after ordering, their meals were served, but when her order of Roti Tissue came out, she was surprised and couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Not expecting for the Roti Tissue to stay upright without any assistance, her friends began recording the video.

While it was impressive that the thin crispy treat was able to stay upright, what caught the attention of her, and her friends were the fact that some cilantros were added on top of the Roti Tissue! Speaking to Wau Post, she said,
“I didn’t expect the Roti Tissue to come out looking like a tree. I was genuinely surprised as it was my first time visiting this mamak.”

Posing for a picture with her Roti Tissue, it’s apparent that the Roti Tissue is still ‘taller’ than her, despite her standing up. Following her post, many netizens have found it amusing and here’s what some of them said:
