One of the best things about Malaysians would definitely be the kindness and compassion we have not just for humans but for animals as well. Often times we would catch people feeding the strays or taking care of them and just recently, a nurse working at the Selayang Hospital has decided to help a furry feline.
Kindhearted nurse sees stray Oyen hurt, brings it back to her workplace for simple treatment
Speaking to Wau Post, Deno shared that he was at the hospital as his child wasn’t feeling well. As he was waiting at the waiting area, he saw a cat sitting at the side, calling out to anyone who was passing by, as if it was trying to notify someone that it got hurt. Not long after, a nurse passed by the area and the cat followed the nurse for a bit.
Upon noticing that the cat was following her, the nurse quickly carried the cat and headed into the emergency ward. As the cat was brought into the ward, many nurses attended to it and made sure that it received the best care possible.
“Shortly after, I saw Oyen out again but this time with its injured leg wrapped up”, he said.
As the video blows up on social media, plenty of netizens have commented on the issue and here’s what some of them said:
“Oyen is so smart for this, get well soon!”
“Thank you to the nurse who was willing to treat Oyen. Hopefully it will get well soon!”
“Thank God there are kind nurses and doctors who were willing to take care of Oyen. It’s not just humans who would head to the hospital, even cats would!”
