M’sians praise delivery rider for selfless act in braving flood waters to clear up clogged drain
One rainier day than usual, flood waters took over the streets of Jalan Tun Razak. Last Friday, Sabarudin Ishak recorded the incident from his office building.
The video shows a backlog of cars on the ramp going down. As Sabarudin and his colleagues watched, they spotted a small green figure amidst the waters.

To their amazement, it was a Grab rider attempting to unclog the drain that was causing the flood! Another civilian was also assisting the delivery rider in rectifying the situation.
His bravery and selfless act definitely did not go unnoticed, as the office workers looked on approvingly. His actions earned him online recognition as well, with many users thanking and praising him.
Curious, one of the netizens asked if the flood managed to subside. In a follow-up video, the Grab rider was then joined by the police to move a vehicle. Soon, the road was clear again and traffic was back to normal, all thanks to the Good Samaritan.
